Flush that stuff where it belongs.
Because in the algorithm and automation economy, it's your uniqueness that's the most saleable quality. Being human, relatable, and yourself - should take first place before anything else.
Your family/kids/friends love you because you are YOU, not because you're trying to be a cheap knock-off of someone else.
The average guru on social media will advise beginners to become professional mimics or actors (although that's not how they say it).
It's more like this:
"Don't reinvent the wheel. Just look for viral posts on social media that are 'working' and model them (or copy them). You'll also get tons of views, followers will flock to you, and sales will start flowing in like water."
They pitch this as the 'quickest and easiest path' to attract customers and get sales when you're starting out.
This approach pushes you to deny your own identity and settle for a watered down clone of someone else. To put your greatest asset "YOU" to the side.
It's a tragedy and recipe for frustration and failure. I suggest you flee this demeaning advice.
The people making bank at a high level with Digital Marketing aren't the ones chasing trends.
Do This Instead
Walk away from the lemmings on a fast track to nowhere and step into an adult environment where you'll be treated with respect and dignity.
More importantly - where you'll significantly increase the probability that you'll actually hit your goals as relates to thriving online as you move towards full autonomy (if that's what you want).
